My name on jersey.

Cricket is almost like a religion to our country,  but I never liked cricket at all. When I used to see my friends playing gully cricket or my brother and father going crazy for watching match first, or informing scores to each other on phone. In our life some steps just change our perception towards certain things.  It happened in my life too, it was when my husband asked me that do you wanna take part in our jain society's women cricket,  in a very short span of seconds ,I said yes why not let's try. He replied wonderful  and he just registered my name shortly.  Than the time of just  imagination faded and  reality of having zero knowledge about cricket was a big stress.  Than I  discussed with this with my inlaws and my husband il(Akash) that , I had said yes for cricket competition in excitement  but I don't know the meaning of even over,  they were stressed too that how I will play and learn in couple of days,  during that time my partner actually my best support system,  motivated me , I still remembered those special words .he told,"so what you don't know anything about cricket,  try to learn about it via internet, than start practice and I will help you too". Those words were just tonic to my worries,πŸ₯° and seeing my interest even my mum in law was happy and motivated me to learn and practice.  Than the warm up practice was decided and being confident outside, totally nervous inside that was my state of mind. It was totally different feeling wearing tracks and sports Tshirt,  having bat in one hand πŸ‘•,rushing to ground with full excitement and happiness of learning a different skill.  Some flashback memories of life are so unique that it can't be described in few words.  So from discussion on whatsapp groups to meeting all players , so that time while practicing,  I realized the pressure seeing others play so well. The interest of playing cricket started developing like students start focusing on studies under the pressure of getting good marks or getting  atleast pass.so slowly and steadily our practice started getting more serious and sometimes even twice a day. We all loved our team's passion and clear cut to win. Yes there were some days of little mismatched of thoughts between players or junior players feeling little low, but all started vanish when every player of team wanted to learn and teach each other about game. Friendship  gossiping,  discussions , balancing studies, home chores,  babies etc we all gone through was mesmerizing beautiful.  I remembered close to our competition, days came when me and my husband were going on honeymoon and in excitement of visiting kashmir,  I still miss those cricket practice.  Even in kashmir,  when I saw those little kids playing cricket,  I was like,  akash can we stop our car and play some cricket too, he was obviously just smiling at my craziness πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. So right from coming home , next day practice started and yes before going to kashmir due to much practice with my husband, brother in law, my teammates. My game improved and our coach sir replied,  it was so special for me. When your teacher appreciates you for your hardwork and improvement.  I felt so happy.i really appreciate my teammates,  coach sir (hitesh uncle) and not to forget our sponsor (manisha aunty) .Also the precious moment of seeing my name on the jersey,  yes I felt proud of myself and all supporters  of mine.    Everything was going smooth,  until the twist came, when our captain(bhavna) couldn't joined our game due to her father in law's death and the captainship was passed to our new captain moksha. Everything was balanced very well by her too. Finally the day came we played thrice and won all three game, I remembered we were dancing with happiness,  playing garba on ground, even the audience were enjoying seeing us winning.  So all's good that ends well. I realized that even our team wouldn't had won match, but the idea of taking a step to learn is important. After all learning will always be worth it. Life really becomes easy when you have people who motivates you to pursue and participate.

Why not????

Sorry guys being so late with any topic. Honestly, the recent covid situation had also impacted my interest to write or learn something new . Yes, I agree there has been lot of negativity around all over the world. Watching News on T.V, Social Media has become very depressive these days, but simultaneously we should also not forget to  appreciate the hardwork of the selfless services rendered by our real life "Heroes" who work day and night for the welfare of the people.

So here I have come up with an idea of writing about one of my Relative, who has inspired me thoroughly with his hardwork, dedication and lot of struggles.  His name is Sir (Dr.) Shantilalji M Jain whose Clinic is in Hariyali Village, Vikhroli (East) . His work schedule will seriously shock you with so long working hours and the rare thing is treating people with the lowest fees and  sometimes even for the free to the patients who can't afford even 20 rupees. Frankly speaking working nowadays with such conditions is not practically possible , as we all have to deal with our lifestyle expenses . In all his journey of working now till being 70 plus age , so equal credit goes to his team and staff of compounders and helpers who too share their contribution in this noble service. So we all know how we are being charged by the Medical Professionals (A big fat amount), which puts a big hole specially to the middle class, the poor and the needy people. But yes He still makes me believe that  people like.Dr. Jain who wants to work hard to do something good for the Mankind. A big salute to him for working with so much dedication even after suffering from so many struggles in every phase of life. And ofcourse, his journey would have been really incomplete without the support of his better half (Mrs .Manjula Shantilalji Jain) and also one of  his biggest support from his elder brother Roopchandji M Jain. Obviously working for so many years provides lots of life experiences.

His advice to the Youth and everyone is to follow one's passion and to learn each and everything from basics.

So sincere salute to all our unsung heroes whose hardwork rarely get highlighted or appreciated. It was a tiny attempt from my side to appreciate the positivity and genuineness by giving Dr Jain's example.

Yes even today there are people who want to bring some good change in others life without any unrealistic expectations.  This article would not have been possible without inputs from Dr Jain's granddaughter, Isha Jain and his youngest daughter, Sarika Jain.                        Article by  Richa.pravin.punmiya.

Standardization in media ... highly needed.

As the world is progressing to a better place, where there are lots of advancement in science and technology, communication , business, innovation, information broadcast even in the remotest areas , but somewhere we have not been much aware about  the  topic is the  requirement of standardization in media,  there have been lots of issues raised by specially celebrities for the overexposure of media in  their life, where personal life and relationship are openly exposed without their proper permission. We respect that this overexposure is because of demand From viewers and readers But why this topic need to be thought in detail way and requirement of  implementation too , let's understand it through example, we all are aware about the speculations going around for the late actor Sushant singh rajput mysterious death case. Not to forget how the images of late ssr's death body was circulated on social media apps, we all understand about the curosity of knowing how and why such unfortunate incident happened but atleast we needed to show little sensitivity atleast, it's very sad to even imagine under what sorrowful conditions his family and close friends were going through , the height of media was , when his father was  repeatedly almost harrassed by media about information of his death case, this doesn't meant that every media person proved to be unsupported but little patience would be very much needed during that time. Next example is constantly trolling of people who are under scanner of investigation . All this have led to spread of negativity , toxicity which can be also depressive for those whose names are trolled much. So Yes the reason for writing this topic is,  Yes we all know, our country is a democratic country. we have freedom of speech where we are allowed to express our thoughts freely, but does that give us right to hurt anyone's sentiments without knowing the reality, hindering someone's privacy .There are many such incidents occurs when , the boundary of privacy has been crossed like circulation of someone's private  photos which are broadcasted without his or her permission , just to make a breaking news or trending it online. So if there are so much improvisation in academics syllabus and content,  why not add this topic  and training to deal  with such professionalism i.e standardization in media which would not only boost our aspirant media professionals about the ethics which shouldn't compromised for any topic,it will also set an example among whole world, that we value people's sentiments and also believe in being sensibile specially in sensitive topics  .

Yes it actually happened😍

So guys, I hope you all enjoy this story, sharing this story brought me to 10years down memory lane, those moment, memories made our life fully completed. Little adviced for specially our youngsters, I know nowadays people belief in marriage had decreased, I understand due to many reasons but I would love to say that if you find someone to whom you connect directly through your soul, don't loose that person. Yes there is a general perception towards finding a perfect Life partner is everyone's desire, but that's a myth, no one is going to be perfect totally.  Trust me guys , if you find someone who motivates you to be better in life, supports you in each and every ups and downs, someone who  respect you for your originality, than you are totally blessed. Sharing your life, emotions etc is a part of relationship, so guys enjoy this phase always ❤️.

Yes it actually happened 😍part 7( a promise of commitment.)

Yes finally our marriage rituals completed with fun, excitement, happiness, all close members arrived at our house 10 days before. Our house actually got a different Vibes, all our rituals of worshipping, haldi, mehedi, sangeet, ring ceremony completed well.  It was time for our D'day, like every girl I was excited, nervous, there were literally there were lots of goosebumps, also emotional for us, because before this new phase, I was going to leave my house, to settle in my husband's house. Yes there were nervousness too, because our countries were different, residing in a different community's family and most important leaving amma , as after neha's marriage, amma didn't felt much incomplete because I was there but now , imagining her living alone without us, was emotional moment for us. So our moment came for taking those 7vows, where there was 7promises of love and commitment, our both style marriage completed successfully. During my send off (Bidaai), that time, amma , neha, me and all our ladies gone very sentimental.   We all hugged each other, hugging amma was very emotional moment for us. I saw little tears in her eyes, she strongly controlled her emotions so that I don't cry much. The best moment was when mummy (my mother in law) hugged amma and made her relieved that now "she is my daughter too, you don't worry at all sudhaji". Listening this, a different smile evoked on Amma's face . That would be one of the most special memorable moment for us. We took everyones blessings. So finally I was now mrs.nisha Mehta.   I always respected the concept  of marriage, but sometimes being a mother of a daughter now I understand, how tough it's for a family of a girl, to send her permanently in a different house, where no matter how much good behaviour would be there, but things are definitely going to change and yes it's very natural, we all girls and their family go through this phase. Now I think when my daughter would be married, I  strongly desire, that even she gets a partner like her father, who supported me in each stages of life, also my mother and sister in law, who created efforts so familiar environment of ours house, where I don't miss my house much. So yes it actually happened guy's, two countries, one World merged totally with little adjustments and mutual understanding.❤️❤️.

Yes it actually happened 😍, part 7.

So finally, after lot's of if's and but's, our both mothers and Rohan's maternal aunt, decided to meet  and have  further discussions about marriage ceremonies. As we both belong to different communities, so definitely things were going to be little tougher, interesting and different. So , finally Rohan and his family shifted to their virar's house from canada for completion of all marriage ceremonies and rituals. Both mothers had desire to complete all our rituals in traditional styles. For amma, learning about gujrati rituals was little tough and confusing as they are totally opposite from our malayali rituals , But Rohan's mother and her maternal aunt told amma that "not to worry much , we will explain you every rituals in detail and we will do each and everything in our budget, sharing it in 50 _50". Amma was mentally relieved from stress of all marriage ceremonies and rituals, due to supportive nature of mummy and masi (Rohan's maternal aunt).  Finally our muhurat was decided and ceremony of both community styles was decided.  Budget was decided, gift's list was decided from both sides, shopping was started for both types wedding. Menu was discussed. Everything was like roaller coaster ride, it was fun , tiring yet very exciting πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ.

Yes,it actually happened 😍(finally yes❤️)

Amma's those words of explanation gave me an insight, I seriously should thank God for providing me mother who ditched typicalness, for making my life happy, she boldly accepted that even distance can't stop loving me so much. Marrying your child, especially a daughter and that to where her in-laws are in another country, isn't easy. All this feelings, I understand much better now because even I am a mother of a daughter and just imaginative of sending her at a distant place, make me very nervous.  After the next day, when Rohan asked his mother, that how much serious he is for me. He asked mummy to talk to amma and clear doubts if any. Our love story would be incomplete without discussing about Rohan's mother and her aunt's contribution. Let me introduce you guys to mummy (Rohan's mother) . Her name is Bhakti Mehta, a person who worked too hard for her family, Yes Life wasn't easy after early demise of Rohan's father, settling to Canada wasn't easy without proper formal education, but ours self made woman even did labour job too, for maintaining family and kid's education. Today  when I think about Rohan's gentle man Nature and maturity,  the credit totally goes to our Mummy . Seeing your mother working so hard, makes a guy more mature and a perceptions to respect women more. So after  lot's of discussion with my close friends and family , I finally decided to accept Rohan's proposal of marriage with a whole heart. So when we finally started chatting again, slowly and gradually everything took a balance, happiness bounded again, Yes this combo of North and South India was planned by destiny.❤️❤️❤️

Yes it actually happened,😍 part6

Yes I would honestly describe this phase as very unpleasant and boring too. My family noticed that Yes I am not happy internally too, but office work and hanging out with friends on weekends made me feel better. Being honest , my life was actually incomplete without talking to Rohan. Every close friend of mine knew that I am not happy fully. The best thing, I got to knew later is even that, we stopped texting to eachother. Inspite of all this, Rohan never failed to know about me via neha, Micky and our close mutual friends. So after some days, Rohan called amma, he told amma, "I know amma, how close nisha is to you and Neha, but shifting to India is next to impossible because all our life, we worked too hard, to live a well settled Life in Canada and starting everything again from zero in India would take many years to have a well settled life, I understand about stigma attached of n.r.i guys in india, but I promise that I would surely bring nisha to India every year, i also promise she would stay happy with me and my family." Listening all this amma replied, "okay dear, would try to understand nisha, you don't worry beta. Take care." So finally amma decided to lead and asked me frankly" beta, do u love rohan". I told " yes amma". Than she explained me lovingly, look Rohan is seriously decent guy , you guys would be happy with each other, "Yes shifting to Canada is difficult but not impossible, in this generation, finding someone so seriously for me is not easy."

Yes it actually happened( it's time for a twist.) Part 5

No doubt my answer was yes for the proposal of rohan, but the question of shifting abroad leaving my single parent mother. Rohan initially told me to shift India with his family , as I was not ready to settle at Canada permanently. His family and wasn't aware of our relationship. His aim was to tell his mother, sister and elders as he completes his age of 25th . Thus time was flying faster than usual for us. As soon he completed 25th years of age, his mother announced to his maternal uncle and aunt ,to find a girl for marriage purpose from gujrati community. When Rohan knew about this, he confessed that he loves me and had proposed me for marriage. Mummy (Rohan's mother) was shocked when she heard and more shocked when she knew that I am South Indian. Usually our North Indians have certain mentality about South Indians regarding their looks, culture,  little conservative nature etc .So Rohan's mother denied ours relationship because of caste issue and I understand why she must have denied because like amma, even she lost Rohan's father at a very early age. She struggled and work harder to survive in Canada although her maternal side was very support,  but I am proud to say, that my mother in law is a self dependent person. Mumy too single handedly fulfilled responsibility of a mother and father, also balanced work and family very well. I actually respect that lot. So to convince his mother, Rohan called his maternal aunt who lives in mumbai, as he is very close to her, he told about our seriousness and convinced her to make mummy understand . When his aunt called mummy (Rohan's mother) to convince her, mummy agreed on one term, she told her maternal aunt to meet me and my family once. So after four days ,on Sunday his aunt came to meet us in our house. As our roots are from south, but residing in mumbai for such a longer time, we were gelled well with north Indians too. Actually his aunt was relieved that , what she mentally thought about us, we weren't that typical South Indian people, she liked all of us well. But the best thing about his aunt we loved was her honest nature, because when amma told his aunt that, "may be Rohan will try to settle in India." Aunt directly told truth that ,"sorry my dear but Rohan won't ever shift to India, because he and his family struggled lot to live a well settled life in India ". Me and amma was shocked for some time, I was very sad that time. The next day, I had a very bad call with Rohan, as I thought he cheated me by telling that he would shift to India. Yes Rohan listened everything patiently, he said yes I told you, I would shift to India, but it's very tough to leave such a job security and well settled life in Canada. I directly told him on phone, that I am not interested in carrying our relation ahead,as I don't want to shift Canada leaving my family. Rohan replied ,"I understand your emotions nisha, I just wanna say is no decision will be forced upon on you, if you are happy breaking up with me, okay but I seriously loved you very much and would respect your emotions are decision , it would break my feelings too, but if you are happy, it would be fine for me, Good luck for everything, cyaa."

Yes it actually happened, a meeting for a new beginning part 4.😍

So finally day came, when Rohan came to meet me and my family from canada to India. It was a lovely feeling when someone comes to meet you specially from such a long distance. It was like my life was about to change from seeing him onscreen to live . Yes that took lots of patience for both of us.  As I was always a person, who never kept much attention on looks but that day, I asked neha chechi ," Am I  looking presentable or not?". She was like , "ohhhhh,  somebody is taking care of her looks more now".πŸ˜… My response was a blushing smile πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. So finally when the bell rang, my heart began to beat more faster. Yes finally we met, there were typical love songs were running in my mind πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. The excitement of meeting was showing straightly in my eyes and smile. As soon as, entering at our house, he touched feet of amma. Looking at that act, we were really touched by his manners of respecting elders. He said Hello to me and neha. Neha was literally in mode of teasing us by giving me some signs of eyes πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.  Thus we made him feel comfortable on sofa, me and sat Neha on opposite chairs. So the initial talks was how's everyone in family, work life etc,  As neha being his bestie, knew how much Rohan loves South Indian food. After some talks, Rohan proposed me in front of amma and neha. That moment was the loveliest ❤️❤️.

Yes it actually happened 😍 (introduction of amma) part 4

So when finally my photo was sent by neha,I was totally mad on her but now what's done is done. Now this online friendship ,ours chatting became a part of life, Yes we were actually attached to each other, communication became very essential for us. So that day finally after 2years of chatting,  Rohan finally asked me, if I also actually feel the same thing, which he felt. 😍😍 Yes definitely loved him lot But also it's true that ,Yes I was hesitant, little feared, it was all because of some basic mentality, about n.r.i . that may be he won't be interested in any kind of Serious relationship.  This is little strange in our indian society to share about a guy's proposal but yes as we both sisters were closed with my mother, let me introduce you guys with my mother. Her name is sudha balan, a person without whom our life wouldn't be such happening. Initially in our childhood days, my mom (amma) was little strict, as compared to our dad, late.(Balakrishnan Balan) But after  early death of ours father due to health problems, amma  single handedly  fulfilled responsibility and love of both mother and father. Amma came from a well settled family and even at my father's house,we led an comfortable life . Acchan (my father) wish was too see his family members to lead a comfortable  life, but due to sudden illness of my late father,  responsibility of running our household, my and neha's education , etc came on Amma's shoulders. We are proud to say that Yes amma raised us hardworking ly as a teacher . Our relatives offered us financial help but we refused and it was best decision of our life. Even being born in a very orthodox family, we are proud amma gave us all freedom to explore many things but yes there were certain limits and today being a parent, I understand . So we were chatting regularly, amma knew well. Finally I told her about proposal of Rohan, amma asked "are you guys serious for each other. My reply was," Yes, But problem is I don't want to go abroad, leaving u amma". This was an emotional moment for us, I holded her hands.❤️ Her eyes became little teary because, no mother wants to send her daughter,so far aspecially at a place where we never visited, so our decisions were going on and off.

Yes it actually happened. 😍part 3

Now the time comes as tit for tat, neha shared my email id to rohan without my permission. The next fine day , I saw an new email , when I checked that I'd it was of Rohan's. I got mixed feelings , even today it reminds me those goosebumps, and the process of chatting started. The initial chatting includes knowing about each other college life, studies, friends , career goals etc. To be Frank, we didn't opened up every topic with each other, the beauty of our friendship was getting to know each other slowly and steadily. There was a line of control in our chatting initially. Gradually we continued chatting, I actually realised , I am getting attached to Rohan and even he realised because of residing in different countries. I was in india and he was in Canada so we maintained patience for each other messages. This whole chatting story was well known both by my sister and my mother (amma) too. I am actually blessed to have a family which understood my emotions, But also guiding me time to time when needed.  They all noticed slight changes in me , which was coming naturally . The best thing about our growing friendship of me and Rohan was he is a very good listener, who patiently listens first and level of maturity to understand things.  So yes we were becoming good friends , one day he asked me to send my photo. I initially denied it, due to some hesitance as I felt , he have feelings for me. But I never interested in long distance relationship.  I still appreciate that when I denied sending my photo, he didn't forced and told me , "it's okay nisha, send me whenever you feel like, no hurry".I was actually impressed internally for genuineness of Rohan. So everything was going smooth our studies were over, he found an job too as an solar engineer, after some months, even I found job in an accountancy firm. Our chatting was on-going well, even neha chechi and Rohan used to chat , so Rohan asked to send my photo on his I'd ,if I don't have problem. Neha directly sent my photo without my permission, when she confessed, I freaked out. Ohh god, it sounds so funny right now. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Neha di actually became our love guru , the funniest part was neha sent my not so Good looking photoπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚, but Stop Rohan liked it and he saved it in his desktop.

Yes It actually happened . part (2)

So by reading this introduction part, its very easy to guess , It's a love story obviously and funnily our bollywood crazy friends describe it as a similar to two states πŸ˜…πŸ˜…, but it's not only about 2 states combo but about 2countries, one love ❤️.  Being second child to my parents,Yes I was More naughty , humorous, extrovert and ofcourse tomboyish person as compared to my elder sister Neha balan , let me share something about my elder sister Neha, I call her chechi, which means elder sister in Malayalam. She is also our setting person who also had  lots of contribution in setting me and Rohan πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚. She is also happily married with her husband in mumbai. I am blessed to have a sister like her who is not mere a sibling but an close friend and my partner in crime πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. She is kareena kapoor of our house due to her good looksπŸ˜….  So let's go to those memories where something special is about to happen.  That was one fine morning when neha chechi was busy in her presentation for college assignments , for some work she rushed to collect some documents at her friend's place . Laptop was just left as it is, I was reading at same sofa , what I observed was a sudden pop up of an email. It was an email of Rohan on her I'd.  Let me mention, neha and Rohan are school time bestfriends.  Due  to early death of his father too, he and his family shifted to Canada with some support from Rohan's maternal uncle and aunt  for college studies and career.  As Rohan was still very close to his friends,he used to be in regular touch through email chats.    An sudden prank came in my mind, to chat with Rohan on neha's behalf on her I'd. So I started talking silly , poor Rohan was awestruck that what suddenly happened to NehaπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ , but he didn't told anything on that time. In some minutes, finally Neha came home and noticed me , chatting with her I'd. She became totally mad on me. She was like why u chatted silly on my behalf, so when she apologized Rohan , he actually liked my silly prank . Neha was little embarassed but instead Rohan told I really like Nisha's humorous nature, can i get her id . I was shocked because i didn't had any other intention . To be frank Yes i  was hesitant to start conversations with him. My only thoughts stressed me is , what this guy will think about me .

Fun for some , haunting memories for victims.

Hii guys, my name is Shweta Singh, journalism student. Born and brought up in this fearless Mumbai city. Thus being a student of media, i know the power of media well. In my study ,we are taught to report, explore, cover , highlight facts and stories of masses. But today I want to share my personal story, which I never shared with almost anyone. My father is a small time retail of steel utensils in vasai .As the festival season start ,its obvious to help me n my brother to help in his business. So it was a time of Diwali season ,time was 10.30 pm .Due to festival and traffic , the availability of auto became low. I was about to go home from shop . The regular distance is of half hour from my shop to home. So after waiting for 10 minutes, a bus came on the way where i was waiting , frankly speaking the incident of Delhi gang rape case came in my mind which happened in a bus, Thus to avoid delay. I took a bus,  I  noticed probably 8 to 10 people, Among those people, there were only 2 ladies. I was relieved atleast it had 2 ladies. So i sat on the front row near a lady. So after 15 minutes of ride, a gang of 5 boys entered , they took a backseat . They were chit chatting loudly , when suddenly a guy from their group, made an silent hint to his group. Thus they all suddenly started staring me and commenting on my dress and on my body . They thrown very bad remarks on me. I was scared , thus observing my fear, the lady who sat near me told me " don't worry dear, i will exit from the bus when your destination come, Don't say anything to these notorious group . I can't believe that, since childhood I was always a outspoken girl, I never took anything for granted.  How i  was scared? I was even shocked that even that bus conductor didn't stopped that group of boys. Similar incident happened, after some months , never to underestimate that such incident happens only late night, it was 5 pm in evening , when I was going for shopping.  God knows that time, why there were much public during that time. So while I was walking , group of 6 boys were  walking in my opposite direction , among those 6 boys ,one was heavily drunk, I was little tense seeing them, but I ignored them.suddenly that drunk guy commented on me , " Are item rukh , kya dikhti hai kadak". After hearing that , I just scolded that guy and he apologized that ," I am sorry , i am drunk" . I replied, "you talk like this to your sister bro".   The another guy told we are sorry and they silently exited.  During that time , I really felt brave.  The message , I want to share is that yes today I regret , that why didn't I opposed those guys who commented on me badly . I want to tell that yes eve teasing is an emotional trauma which almost every girl faces specially on public places like while commuting in train, railway platforms ,bridges , even while walking alone. The eve teasers don't even realized that their some moments of fun moments can make feel scared or depressed  to the victims. The longer you will suffer silently ,the majorly we will be victimized. The fact is majority of time, we don't discuss the our parents due to unfriendliness , lack of proper communication, fear that our freedom may end of going places alone.

Dutt saab... A man's untold emotions.

The movie Sanju did so well on box office and it got good critically acclamation , but behind this journey of life with so much name, game, controversies , drug addiction, there was one man who acted like a constant pillar of strength. The legacy of his values and ethics and his progressive mindset deserve to be remembered .So late Dutt Saab (Sunil dutt) an popular name in film industry ,has his own journey. Born in a simple middle class family in punjab who liked to live life on his own terms. After  completing his school studies , he started working as an R.J simultaneously completing his higher education too, to support his family financially. One day at his workplace, one man suggested him for modelling because of  his well built personality and after auditioning, he also got offers for acting this slowly and gradually he made a name in bollywood, also fall in love with timeless beauty late nargisji and they had 3kids from marriage. So let's discuss some of his untold emotions,  when Sanju ,his son expressed his aim of becoming actor, dutt saab's meaningful advice was ,my son"all this name, fame and opportunities you getting to. become an actor , never take it for granted because other people struggles hard to achieve so always respect this". It was the worst time for Dutt saab when nargisji was diagnosed with cancer  at last stage and sanju's addiction for drugs.he was fighting many inner battles , but dealt with it bravely .when in an interview whenever duty saab was to be asked about sanju's drug addiction he used to reply honestly and humbly that yes Sanju was addicted but it was due to his shock of nargisji's death but Sanju had fighted and overcame from this addiction through his efforts. There was a time when Sanju was unable to recover from drug addiction , his best friend explained that , Uncle you are a brave personality but please understand  Sanju is different, he has his own Passion and mindset , please understand that".On that day itself Dutt saab took an bold step ,ask his son to share a drink which was worth discussing because that step was acceptance of reality and explaination , that although his son has his own aim and passion he accept it  because he love him . There was also a moment when underworld used to force Sanju to have compulsory presence in their parties which Sanju was not happy naturally by their invitation but was forced too, one day duty saab confronted him that why he attend such parties if he don't like them, he advised them to tell it honestly even they provide threats .so this was a step of teaching his son that better to live peacefully with strength to tell Truth. There are many things more ,I wish you could read this letter but what the world needs to know that you foughted every battle without any complains and tried to understand your kids situation with whole acceptance and lifetime advices.you are a real hero and your values of strength and honesty will be immortal. This is my little tribute to you.  We love and respect you dutt saab.

Privacy matters.

One incident of my friend  which made me realized to discuss the most ignorant topic, her commute in local train, her fellow Lady passenger literally peeping in her phone.  when she was chatting on her phone,She confronted that lady but do we Indians generally give importance to privacy majorly, no.. It's not an uncommon thing that family members check each other phone specially of their teenage child when left unattended. Like almost spying on their cellular activities. It's not uncommon in our home to enter any family members in our  room without knocking, the psychology is that what is the need of privacy among our family members but it is. Shahrukh Khan in an interview described that he always knock the door when his wife is changing clothes even after being married for 30years, also knocks his kids room before entering because he feels it's their personal space and it's their right. So this are values and ethics which should be respected and this is our real manners and education. Also there are several case happening when people publicised their personal chats and private pictures after break-up. The person doing this will never understand the mental trauma which his or her ex _ partner goes. Totally disheartening and shocking for a person to believe , that with the one you spent your Best intimate moments is defaming you to prooved his innocence. So the message of my article is to highlight the importance of personal space . when personal space is neglected, the respect for the person also diminishes. So if there are any issue evoking in mind it's better to discuss frankly rather than any impulsive action or judgements. So personal space is our right ,if we expect honesty from our dear ones it requires right mindset to accept.

Breaking stereotypes.

As feminism is the latest discussion , stories about womens reaching the level of success after struggles etc , but my today story aims to discuss importance of being humanist than feminist.  This is a story about a manegi not only gained success but also help his partner to achieve her identity. H what attracted  nameme isto write this story is,  we always have mindset that higher education is always important to  have progressive thinking, but he prooved me wrong. Jagdish borana, a successful saloon owner in virar(mumbai).Born in a middle class rajasthani family at udaipur. Jagdish father a cook by profession in a well-known businessman in South mumbai. He and his whole family except his father used to stay in village located in interior of udaipur. Jagdish hardly passed ssc because of no interest in study. So after 8 std, he moved on to his Uncle house in virar, there he learned saloon course. So he set up an saloon start up near his residence , collecting some saving from his father and Uncle After completion of his course. Slowly and gradually, after certain struggles .His saloon started having a good name for his service and his good work ethics, thus he also brought his mother and sister to his residence of Uncle's house. So as Jagdish belong to a community where often , youngsters are engaged faster.so in his 19th year, he gone to saw a girl name hema who also belong to jagdish's nearby village. Hema a shy, beautiful in her sweet sixteenth. She completed just ssc .so with the family alliance and both's approval, they got engaged. During those times there were hardly any personal mobile, this they used to have conversations via letters and common telephone. Hema says letter were a reason to create an attachment and bond between 2people. Thus after 2years they married with great enthusiasm. Hema had to adjust herself in this new city's environment, initially a tough phase of her life. So after certain adjustments, Jagdish and his father decided to make hema skilled.  So hema was happy and her respect grew more for her husband. Thus after hema's approval, they enrolled her to a beautician classes nearby virar station, the location of her classes was 40minutes far from their residence .Initially  jagdish's mother wasn't much happy about her joining beautician course but Jagdish convinced his mother that homechores and her classes will be balanced . Jagdish decided to receive her everyday from her classes in evening, those 40 minutes of Walk together blossomed their romance well.πŸ˜„  So after completion of 6 months course , Jagdish and his father gathered some saving and set up an ladies parlor that hema could operate.  The parlor business boomed slowly with her strong determination and her self confidence began rising. Presently she  says that she never dreamed of that one day she will have her own identity, she feel very lucky to have such an amazing partner who broke an stereotype. In this 12 years of saloon business, she also trained more than 50 girls under her supervision. They have 3 children ,2girls and one boy. Both the partner work hard to provide their children all facilities but also taught values and well manners. So this is actually real love, where main aim is mutual respect and mutual self identity Creation.I wish more people like Jagdish  who  break the patriarchal system  who believe in achieving and also help in achieving. We should also credit our man too even they deserve equal credit.

Honour killing. name or shame

The topic of honor killing is the crime, which has penetrated deep in our patriarchal society . Through the power of media, we can create more awareness and guide masses about the evil crime which not only kills victims but humanity too .there has been many cases about honor killing done by family due to their mindset of getting defame in our society. It's has occurred not only in rural areas but in Urban areas , where modernization has step in everyone's life.we use smartphone, high tech technology, but still our patriarchal mindset needs a change . After attainment of adult's age, we all have right to marry by our choice laid by our constitution, but actually it's still not applicable in everyone's life. Some think that killing the couple who loves or marry each other on their choice have no right to live, because their ego is hurt . After all how many people will be killed or tortured ,it's time to highlight this issue and create a solution.first of all , communication barrier between our youth and their parents have to be decreased, this can only happen with a progressive mindset . Parents can think logically, little friendliness and proper mindset will really create progress in their and their children's lives. marriage system should be considered according to their choice not by caste . It's our youth duty also to attain financial independence before marriage so that we are fully prepared for the responsibility. Stringent laws and helplines by government for the victims. After all to bring change and harmony. Change is essential.
